Grandmother Stops Robber
A 73 year old Thai grandmother stopped a
robber today. The robber was a 40 year old man called Noi Namjumjung.
He tried to take her bag. The grandmother, Prapai Sroysing, had $US180
in her bag.
She kneed the robber in the groin several times and punched him. Other people came to help her. They held them man until the police came. Noi said he tried to rob the grandmother because he thought she would not fight back. Prapai said her brother taught her how to fight, but she never expected to use her skills.
