Friend How did the negotiations go for the sale of the building?
Salesman Well, we weren't making much headway. I think the buyer was holding out for a better deal. So I layed my cards on the table. There was a bit of give and take. He's put in a proposal to buy it for $620,000. I told him we'd think about it and get back to him. I'm sure we can get him up to 650,000. I think it is in the bag.
