-ED / -ING

Many people learning English make mistakes with words like boring and bored.
The rule is:

our feeling = ed
the thing that makes us feel that way = ing


Look at these sentences.
I was bored. The movie was boring.
I was confused. The instructions were confusing.
I felt depressed. My exam results were depressing.
I am amazed. The new discovery is amazing.

Try these sentences.
