Japan Ready to Strike

You will hear a story about Japan's Self Defence Forces. Listen and put in the missing words.

The Japanese Prime Minister, Junichiro Koizumi, has indicated that Japan would consider a pre-emptive strike against a foreign threat. It is the strongest position by a Japanese leader since War 2.

Japan has a 240,000 Self Defence Force. Mr Koizumi to rename it and call an army. He said ‘the SDF substantially a military. It is that we cannot call it .’

Mr Koizumi‘s position may be in to a possible threat from Korea.
